Reviews and Ratings
I had an overall disappointing experience at Bintan Lagoon Resort. While the breathtaking sea view from my villa and the friendly staff were highlights, the state of the resort left much to be desired. The rooms were infested with ants, the resort felt rundown, and the prices for activities were quite steep. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you’re traveling with kids who won't mind the issues.
I expected more from this five-star resort. While the ocean view from my balcony was beautiful and the breakfast buffet was decent, I was disappointed with the service regarding planned activities and the overall quality of the room. The beach was nice, but the room had issues like a worn-out mattress and frayed towels, which made my stay less enjoyable than I had hoped.
I was really looking forward to my stay, but it didn't quite meet my expectations. The resort has some nice amenities, and the food was quite good, but there were several issues with service and maintenance that really dampened my experience. The room cleanliness and check-in were disappointing, and the food prices were higher than what I expected for the quality. Overall, I had a good time but left feeling that there are areas needing improvement.
I had a wonderful experience at the resort, primarily due to the extremely cooperative staff who went above and beyond to help me recover my valuables. The ambiance was lovely, and the amenities like private beaches and golf added to the charm. However, the rooms could use some improvement, and I did encounter some issues with dining services which could be better managed.
